Jessica Abrams was raised in Northern Virginia and recently moved to Montgomery County with her husband and rescue dog. She has been working in medicine since 2011, first serving as a nurse in the intensive care unit at a major hospital in Baltimore, MD. In 2016 she became a nurse practitioner working for a dementia care facility serving both inpatient and outpatient communities. She later found a calling to providing in-home care, which she has been doing ever since.
Jessica received both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Johns Hopkins University. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and then completed a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner graduate certificate program at Wilkes University.
